Frequently Asked Questions

For Individuals

How much does a delivery cost?

Our pricing depends on distance, vehicle size, load type, and driver availability.

For same-day, dedicated deliveries, rates typically range from £1.10 to £1.25 per mile + VAT for vans up to Luton size. Larger vehicles, such as 7.5t or HGVs, are charged differently due to their operating costs and capacity — though private customers rarely need vehicles beyond a Luton.

For flexible “backload” or shared deliveries, prices can be up to 50% cheaper if your load can travel alongside another booking.

Please note that driver availability and scheduling play a role — couriers don’t start work only when a job appears. If you require a very specific time slot or short notice, that can affect the rate.

Every quote we provide is fully customised — no hidden fees, no surprises.

Do you deliver personal items or furniture?

Yes. We regularly transport furniture, appliances, or other household items. Just tell us the weight, dimensions, and if help is needed with loading. For large or heavy goods, the driver can assist for a small additional charge.

Can I travel with my item?

For safety and insurance reasons, passengers cannot travel with the driver. However, you’ll receive live tracking updates and instant proof of delivery (POD).

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We understand plans change. Cancel at least 2 hours before pickup for a full refund.
Cancellations after dispatch may incur a partial fee to cover allocated resources.

How do I pay?

We accept bank transfer for one-off bookings. For new private customers, we request payment upfront to confirm your slot. Invoices are sent automatically by email.

For Businesses

Do you handle contract or multi-drop runs?

Yes — we provide both scheduled and ad-hoc logistics support. Whether you need a daily route, depot-to-depot transfers, or one-off urgent jobs, we can tailor a plan that fits your workload and reporting needs.

Can I get regular PODs or delivery reports for my customers?

Absolutely. We provide instant digital PODs and can set up custom summary reports for clients with recurring work.

Are your drivers insured and compliant?

Yes. All deliveries are covered under our Goods-in-Transit insurance (up to £50,000) and Public Liability insurance. Our vehicles are regularly maintained and operated by qualified, compliant drivers who understand site access and H&S procedures.

What vehicle sizes do you operate?

Our fleet includes:

  • Small & short-wheelbase vans (400–700 kg)

  • Long-wheelbase and Luton vans (up to 1.2 t)

  • 7.5t, 12t, 18t and articulated lorries (up to 26 pallets)
We allocate the right vehicle for your load — no overloading, ever.

Can you help with warehouse storage or onward distribution?

Yes — through our partner network, we can offer short-term storage, pallet consolidation, and UK-wide onward delivery.

Do you handle time-critical or high-value deliveries?

Yes. Time-critical logistics is our core service. We also offer enhanced insurance on request for high-value goods.

How do I set up an account?

For regular clients, we can arrange a 14–30 day invoicing account after an initial trade reference check.
