Engineering & energy client

Flexible transport support
for an engineering & energy client.

A repeat relationship spanning small consignments, van deliveries and larger palletised loads. These examples come from our own job records, invoices and delivery paperwork.

Different loads. One transport contact.

Our records for this engineering and energy-sector client run from April 2025 into September 2026. The work is varied: small engineering consignments, palletised equipment, a delivery with a return collection, and two tonnes of glycol in IBCs.

The vehicle provided changes with the load. The records include small-van, SWB and LWB work, Luton curtainsiders and 7.5t transport. That range is the story: a repeat transport relationship across different requirements.

A relationship across vehicle sizes

The photographed movements below sit alongside other recorded work: a 10kg box carried by SWB from Cannock to Bury St Edmunds in April 2025, and an LWB delivery-and-return run between Cannock and Selby in March 2026. The load and route determine the vehicle.

6–7 August 2026 · 7.5t transport

2,000 litres of glycol: Birchington → Alfreton

Two IBCs, recorded at two tonnes, collected in Birchington and delivered to Alfreton the following morning. The delivery record confirms both items received. The pictures show the loaded curtainsider, the tanks off the vehicle and the completed paper delivery note.

25 June 2025 · Small van

Small-van movement: Cannock → Brough area

A compact palletised consignment moved from Cannock to the Brough area of East Yorkshire. The photographs show the load restrained inside the van and handled by forklift at delivery. The signed delivery note confirms the route and date.

4 February 2026 · Luton curtainsider

Pallets and an intercooler: Evesham → Cannock

Engineering equipment, including an intercooler and palletised items, returned from the Evesham area to Cannock. Side access allowed the palletised equipment to be handled at the vehicle; the delivery photographs and signed receipt document the handover.

17 April 2025 · Curtainside loading

Palletised engineering equipment: Thetford → Cannock

The booking recorded four pallets at around two tonnes; the completed paper note also lists three IBCs. The photographs document the palletised equipment, the loaded vehicle and handling at the Cannock delivery point.

What the coordination involved

A small pallet inside a van and two tonnes of glycol in IBCs need different vehicle capacity. The Evesham job required access for palletised equipment, while the Selby movement combined an outbound delivery with a larger pallet count on the return.

The glycol booking allowed collection on 6 August and delivery on 7 August; the completed POD confirms that next-day handover. The Selby booking shows another part of the work: coordinating a delivery with a return collection on the same route.

What the relationship demonstrates

The client returned with different types of load over successive months. Small-van work and larger road freight sit alongside each other in that history: the requirement determines the vehicle, rather than every request being treated as the same kind of job.

Client feedback

Clear communication. A direct contact.

“They respond quickly, communicate clearly and are transparent about collection and delivery expectations throughout each movement. They have supported us with everything from urgent engineering parts and tools to palletised and heavier loads requiring larger vehicles. Proof of delivery is provided promptly, and the job summaries and invoicing support make the administration straightforward for our team. We value having a direct contact who understands our requirements and can adapt quickly when support is needed.”
