Computers, servers and peripherals should be packaged for road transport, with loose components secured. Send the number of items, packed dimensions and weight. Explain whether the goods are boxed, palletised or in transit cases. We agree the vehicle and handling based on those details rather than assuming a standard parcel service is suitable.
Coordinate with the receiving contact
For offices or controlled sites, provide the access procedure and the person authorised to receive the equipment. Tell us about stairs, lift restrictions and the distance from parking to reception. Transport does not include installation, configuration or data-handling services unless a separate arrangement is explicitly agreed. Time-sensitive movements can be discussed with dispatch.
