UK Road Freight & HGV Transport
Pallets, machinery and larger consignments moved with a vehicle matched to weight and dimensions.
How we plan the job
For larger movements, tell us the pallet footprint, loaded height, total weight and whether the goods can be stacked. We check access, lifting equipment and any booking slots at both ends. Advance notice helps with vehicle availability and specialist body types.
Typical requirements
Multi-pallet consignments, industrial equipment and full loads.
From booking to delivery
We agree the vehicle, timing and price before the booking is confirmed. Our dispatch team keeps you updated and arranges proof of delivery once the job is complete.
Read the booking FAQs ↗Vehicle class is not available payload
A 7.5-tonne or 18-tonne label describes the vehicle class, not the weight of goods it can carry. Bodywork, tail-lifts and other equipment affect payload. Tell us the total loaded weight, pallet footprint, height and whether anything overhangs. Long but light goods may need a larger body purely for loading length.
Loading arrangements decide the vehicle
Specify forklift access at both ends, whether side loading is needed, and any height or turning restrictions. A tail-lift is not automatically suitable for every pallet or long item. We check its platform dimensions and lifting capacity against the goods. Flexible dates can help us check available capacity, but the vehicle and price are agreed before booking.

Two recorded rigid-vehicle movements
A documented 7.5t movement carried two IBCs containing 2,000 litres of glycol from Birchington to Alfreton. Other photographed work includes palletised engineering equipment and van deliveries.
