Flooring rolls, trim, boards and building materials can be limited by length rather than weight. Send the longest packed dimension and explain whether side loading is possible or required. Site access can change during a project, so include vehicle restrictions, delivery slots and the person who will meet the driver.
Keep the receiving team ready
Confirm who will unload, what lifting equipment is available and where goods should be set down. A delivery to a trade counter is different from a carry into an occupied building. Let us know about stairs, parking and protection for finished surfaces so handling can be agreed. We can assess urgent missing materials as well as planned deliveries.
